So 3 weeks ago I returned from travels ( ah-mazing times were had ). Its taken a while to find my feet again and settling back into the UK life has been. well, challenging! I must admit I already am itching to jump on a plane and jet away.
At the end of 2010 – I set myself the challenge of ‘travel travel and do some more travel’. I achieved this – BOY did i achieve this. Take a look at my recent blog posts. Whilst sat in Dingo ( yeah really I lived in a place called Dingo in the middle of Australia ) I started thinking of what I wanted to achieve when I got back. I wanted 2012 to be THE year for me in terms of career / business. This – is a BIG goal to achieve – for me.
Am I scared of failure? YES! Do I have anything to lose by trying? NO! It makes perfect sense to me right now to try and work hard & achieve this goal. Will I be succesful? Who knows – What I do know is that I love Photography, I love working with people, I love being creative and Photography for me is an outlet – It’s an art for me & I couldn’t walk away from doing something that I absolutely love – thinking ‘what if’.
So whilst sat in a cabin in middle of australia I started to think of concepts for photoshoots. I was super excited about delivering this styled photo-shoot. I set the bars so high and expected so much from this photo-shoot. After days and weeks of researching and planning and buying and feeding money into the photo-shoot – I finally delivered it yesterday.
The photo-shoot was everything thing I wanted & MORE. I want to say THANK YOU to Tom Barker of Tom Barker Photography for dropping by and helping me – I couldn’t have delivered it without you! – This is how it should be – supporting others in the field to grow and get better & collaborate – To Ritu & Kevin for being amazing models – I was SO out of practise – It’s my first shoot in almost a year – You were amazingly patient and I i’m so happy you enjoyed it! Thank You to MUA Erin Samantha White for being available at such short notice! Your work is amazing! Thank You to Laura & Rhia of Village Hair Craft for the Hairstyling – Just stunning! A big thank you to Love Umbrellas for supplying the ivory umbrella! It’s gorgeous! & finally a massive thank-you to Manchester VW Camper – Tommy is beautiful!
