This was such a great gig to shoot!
The gig took place in the basement of the venue at Sound Control here in Manchester on the 29th April. The line-up for the night consisted of post-hardcore / rock Northern quintet Bentley Park, Crooks, and of course headliner Hands Like Houses all the way from Australiaaaaa. If ya haven’t heard of Hands Like Houses but are a fan of Thrice, The Receiving End of Sirens and Closure in Moscow, their influenced by that sound…so go give em a listen! They were pretty damn awesome live =D
Shot the whole gig from the crowd as there’s no pit in this room at the venue & shot from the crowd. Thanks to the lovely fans for letting me get up close! I was keen to get some bokeh-licious shots – So the 50mm came out to play all night.
