Shooting Portraits: India #2

I’m sharing a portrait a day this week from my recent break in India. You can see the first portrait here

We visited Mount Abu during the first week in India. It’s a popular hill station in Rajasthan region of India near the border with Gujarat. It’s elevated at 4,003 ft.

There are temples dotted around plus you can expect to find a strip of local shops and businesses along with the opportunity to horse ride! I had to do that, of course ๐Ÿ˜‰ So fun.

There was a tonne of mountain monkeys around, hills, a point where you could sit back and relax and watch the sunset and I found my fave cafe EVER situated there (Cafe Shikibo)

On the way out, we stopped by a family that were living in a shanty house made from local materials. There was a fair few kids around along with their parents. Although they don’t have alot in terms of material values, they have a spirit that’s untouchable. We handed out clothes and food & gosh they were more than willing for me to take photos!

I just regret not having a portable printer so I could leave some prints with them. Next time…

She was loving her biscuits!
